Nicole has worked with children and their families for 13 years and earned a degree in Special Education: General Curriculum and a Birth-Kindergarten add-on licensure from UNCG. She taught in the Wake County System as a Resource Teacher for kindergarten and first-grade students before joining the White Plains staff in August 2010.

Executive Director

Janitta rejoined WPCC in 2018 as part of the administration team, but previously worked at WPCC from 2011-2017 as the lead teacher of the Pandas and Bears classrooms over the years. Janitta has an A.D. in Human Service and a B.S. in Early Childhood with a Birth-Kindergarten Licensure. She has many years of working with our youngest learners! 

Associate Director

Kellie is a San Diego native who moved to Raleigh 6 years ago. Kellie has over 15 years experience in the non-profit sector, mostly in finance and administration, and she joined the WPCC team in January 2015. Kelly's favorite aspect about working at WPCC is "seeing how passionate the teachers and staff are about the children and our mission and hearing stories about how far kids have progressed while attending WPCC."

Jodi was born in Massachusetts and moved to Cary, NC when she was in middle school. Jodi is a graduate of Cary High school and has two teenage children (send her positive thoughts :-)). In her free time, she loves watching Patriot football, being creative, and spending time with her family.

Lead Pandas Teacher

McKenzie joined the WPCC staff in February 2020. McKenzie is from Wilmington, NC and prior to joining the WPCC staff McKenzie worked at a CAP-C provider for children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. McKenzie is pursuing a degree in Social Work. A few fun facts: McKenzie loves to play softball, she has two siblings and they all three were born in the month of June, and her favorite place to visit is the mountains!

Pandas Co-Teacher

Jalicia joined the WPCC staff in June 2019. She graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor's in Social Work and continued on to graduate from Walden University with a Master's in Social Work. Jalicia is currently pursuing her Birth-Kindergarten licensure as well. Jalicia is originally from Conway, NC. Three fun facts about Jalicia are: that is a very loving and happy person, she loves her job at WPCC and she is very family-oriented, including her two adorable little boys.

Giraffes Lead Teacher

Cheyenne joined the WPCC staff in September 2017. Cheyenne is the second oldest of nine children ranging in age from 2 years old to 26 years old and she originally hails from Bristol, Rhode Island. Cheyenne worked with Angels on Horseback, assisting children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities to have horsemanship opportunities. In Cheyenne's free time, she enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time outdoors!

Haley joined the WPCC staff originally from 2016-2017. Haley then left to pursue getting her Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. Recently Haley graduated and chose to return to WPCC in December of 2019 as the co-lead of our Pandas classroom. Haley also has a B.A. in Psychology from Mars Hill University. Away from work Haley enjoys playing and coaching soccer and spending time with her husband and dog Dani. She enjoys being outside and being active.

Tanika joined the WPCC staff in January 2013 after graduating from NC Central with a BA in Psychology. Tanika then furthered her education by pursuing her Birth-Kindergarten teaching licensure and graduated in December 2019! Tanika said, "At WPCC, I enjoy all the hugs, smiles, and laughter the children bring to my life daily!" In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, going shopping, watching movies, and hanging out with friends! 

Chipmunks Lead Teacher

Robin joined the WPCC staff in the summer of 2019. Robin is originally from Bronx, NY and she graduated from Mercy College with a Bachelor of Science specializing in Behavioral Science. Robin shared that she enjoys empowering young minds. Before working for WPCC, she was a substitute teacher for many years and enjoyed working with children on all different levels of the learning continuum. Away from work, Robin enjoys exploring nature trails and parks, swimming, and playing tennis.

Lauren is a Speech Pathologist who has been servicing kids in early intervention and in preschool for over 10 years. She has worked with students at WPCC since 2016. She is originally from Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and she graduated from Bloomsburg University with her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. In her free time, she loves spending time at the beach with her husband and 8-year-old son. She is also the owner and Lead SLP of Little Bean Speech.
