I have worked in childcare since I was 16 years old. I attended both Portland State University and Lake Washington Technical College where I obtained my associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Since my earliest memory I have had a true passion for children.

My responsibilities at The Trike Stop include Emergency Costco runs, making bank deposits, dropping off mail, breaking down the cardboard, landscaping and best of all is catching a Saturday T-Ball game when you know one of the players.

Everything about the program is great except the cost. We want to have a second child but it will be far less of a financial impact for me to leave my job than to afford both children at trike stop. Since starting, it's gone up over 10% so we may not even make it to second kid before we have to leave. Really great program, just wish it was more affordable.

The Trike Stop is a family owned and operated small business providing local families with personal, safe, quality care since 2004. Jim and Autumn are a father/daughter team that moved to Edmonds from Beaverton, Oregon to follow in the family business of childcare. We strive each day to make sure each and every child has the best day possible while they play, learn and grow.

We have found success through offering a home like feel, lower than required staff to child ratios in every classroom and staffing each room with loving and educated women. We have one conveniently located childcare center offering care to infants, toddlers & preschoolers ages 6 weeks – 6 years old.
