I have been an EC Educator Since 2003 where I began working with children at my families’ preschool, Hart to Hart Daycare. In 2007 when the program closed I decided to take over and by 2008 Starlight Learning Center was born! 10 years later, my dream to own my own center came to fruition with Starlight Academy. I have been blessed to work with this amazing team! Together we strive to provide the best environment to promote individual learning and exploration in the classroom and beyond.

I have been an Early Childhood Teacher for more than 10 years.  I am currently working to complete my Associates Degree in early education and LOVE implementing new ideas and knowledge that I am learning in my classes. I appreciate the honest perspectives children have on the world around us.  The most exciting part of working with young children is when a new skill or concept "clicks". When given the appropriate environment and tools to succeed, our students never cease to amaze!!

I graduated from UW Whitewater with my BA in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Special Education. It is my incentive to create an environment that promotes and encourages a child’s imagination in play and exploration.  My past experience with children includes working with ages 0-12 years at Starlight Learning Center, with Jessica. This was an invaluable steppingstone into my EC career. I have a true appreciation for the difference I can make in the daily lives of my students!

4K Teacher

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in May 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Early – Middle Childhood Education. I have previously worked as a lead teacher in childcare centers with a range of ages birth - 12 years old. I have been dancing since 3 years old and was previously on a collegiate hip hop team at UW-L. As dance has been a huge part of my life, I will be including it into the classroom as much as possible!

I live in Stoughton, WI with my four adopted children, 3 cats and our pup, Sawyer.  We love exploring through travel and even got to see the most recent eclipse, in Kentucky! I have been an Early Childhood teacher for more than a decade.  I like to focus on the child as the individual, making sure that each student is having their needs met.  I love working with young students and teaching has always been my passion!

I have been an EC Teacher for just over 5 years. I have experience in a preschool setting as well as working as a stay-at-home Mom to my 3 children. I enjoy learning new ideas and implementing them into the classroom. Children are such a joy to work with, I get just as excited as the kiddos do when they accomplish something for the first time. I strive to work towards a pleasant, independent environment where the children can feel safe to explore. The way children view the world is so inspiring!
