Infant Room

We've designed a wonderful environment to foster the daily development of infant minds and bodies. Stories, music, tummy time and baby sign language are incorporated each day. A parent information board is used to track daily information about each child, such as feedings, naps, and diaper changes. We encourage parents to visit throughout the day, or call for updates anytime. We accept both cloth and disposable diapers, and offer a quiet and private room for nursing or pumping mothers.

Toddler Room

The toddler room is a fun place for little ones to play and explore their new world. Large motor, pretend play, outside time, and arts and crafts are just a few of the activities offered everyday to help promote self help skills and nurture development at this stage. While the toddlers are allowed to sleep, eat and play on their own schedule, a structured day is introduced.

Preschool

The preschool program at Library Square School combines hands-on learning experiences and structured play in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. Preschool is the first introduction to a lifetime of learning; a journey that should start off on the right foot.

Child and teacher directed activities (structured and unstructured) are included in the curriculum to help children develop confidence through logical thinking, listening and speaking, reading and writing and physical activities.

4K

Library Square School provides a Kenosha Unified School District 4K classroom on site. The program serves children who turn 4 years old by September 1st. Every Early Education classroom follows the Creative Curriculum System® for Preschool for instruction and incorporates Second Step® to address social/emotional growth in preschool children. Hours are 8-11:07am Monday-Thursday (following the school district calendar). Wrap around care is available as needed, but not a requirement to participate in 4K at our location. Hours of before/after school care are 6:30am-8am and 11:07am-5:30pm
