I’m Shayna, but I go by Ms. Sparkles in the classroom. I have been married for over 30 years and am the mother of two adult children. I have been teaching in the preschool setting for over 23 years creating an engaging and stimulating environment daily. In our child-guided classroom, your young learner will be part of the decision-making process regarding most of the major environmental changes and many of the daily invitations.

I’m Kerri and I was born in Alberta, Canada, then moved to Tucson when I was 12. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development and a concentration in Early Childhood Development. I taught Pre-K for 13 years and since 2019 have been teaching in the three-year-old room. I have two children of my own, and I love my journey as a mom- they keep me on my toes! I enjoy reading whenever I can and playing board games.

I'm Lisa! I was born and raised in Tucson, Az. and I absolutely love it here. I enjoy getting to spend a lot of time outdoors with my family. I also love to read, cook, swim, and watch movies. I have a wonderful husband and two sons named James (born in 2005) and Braden (born in 2009.) I have my Associate’s degree in ECE from Pima Community College and am currently in school at Northern Arizona University to receive my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. 

I'm Anna Kolb and I have been working in ECE for over 15 years, and another 10 years with elementary school children.  I am originally from Berkeley, Ca, but I have lived in Tucson with my husband and two daughters since 2003.  I studied Conservation and Resource Studies and Forestry at UC Berkeley, where I fell in love with Environmental Education and teaching children about the natural world we live in.  My hobbies include reading, gardening, painting, and art.

My name is Corinne, and I was born in Paris. I moved to Tucson in 1994. I am married and have two adult sons and two grandsons. Since I was a little girl, my dream was to be a teacher. I have a Bachelor's Degree in ECE and Elementary education. I have been working in this field since 1982 and with this program since 1994. My goal is to instill in young children the love of learning, being responsible, and kind, and helping them acquire knowledge through play and hands-on activities.

My name is Bobbie. I have been working in preschool for a few years now and I will say they have been the best years ever. I graduated from Central Arizona College where I received their Development Completion Certification Certificate (ECE). I am really looking forward to an amazing year with your children and I cannot wait to watch them learn and grow.

My name is Amber and I was born and raised here in Tucson Arizona. I Graduated from Tanque Verde Highschool and am currently in college working towards my Early Childhood Education Degree. I have a passion for working with young kids and took after my mom, who is a teacher herself. I love getting to teach my students new skills and concepts through play-based learning. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, camping, photography, and spending time with friends and family!

Hello everyone! Sarah is ainm dom, My name is Sarah. I am from Ireland, and that’s where our class name comes from, it’s Irish! I have been living in Tucson and working in ECE since 2012. I live here with my husband and our two very adorable dogs, but the rest of my family lives in Ireland. I have an undergraduate International Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a Master of Education in ECE from NAU. I am currently working on my second Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

¡Hola! I'm Mariel and I'm a native Tucsonan. My husband and I have three daughters and a new puppy named Jack. I have a Master of Education and I’ve taught kiddos from preschool all the way up to high school (preschoolers are my favorite!). I met the wonderful Climbing Tree teachers back in 2009 when my oldest daughter began preschool (it was St. Mark’s at the time) and eventually I became the school’s Spanish teacher and now a substitute.

Climbing Tree Community School, an Early Learning Center (founded by alumni families and teachers of St. Mark's Preschool & Kinder) in Tucson, AZ continues the early learning educational traditions, mission, and philosophy that began nearly 60 years ago. 
Climbing Tree Community School is a  private nonprofit Preschool and Kindergarten. Our mission is to provide outstanding early childhood education to the Tucson community. The school is located in the south wing of the Blenman Elementary campus.
